This beach resort offered a relaxing atmosphere, where you can disconnect from technology and enjoy beautiful views of green landscapes and coconut trees. the breakfast had a good variety of options, and the rooms were comfortable, with deep baths, and a nice layout. the staff was excellent, and they gave a refund for unavailable golf and half of the accommodation. the resort has a big outdoor pool, play area for children, and is great for families.
The resort lacked wireless internet in the rooms, and the reception signal was almost unusable, which is inconvenient for those needing to keep in touch with work or friends.

From the moment we opened the door to our apartment we were impressed. Stylish modern rooms that were large and beautifully presented. The resort is very child friendly and adventure playground, pools and putt putt golf are a good time filler. As its located away from the road and towns its very peaceful but you would need a hire car to have the convenience of coming and going.

Great food, service, and value. Family-friendly with awesome play equipment. Fast restaurant service with many menu options. Neat and comfortable rooms. Cheerful and helpful staff. Clean grounds and inviting pools.
Not one thing.

The location, the privacy and grounds.
I did not like the bed - I found it too hard for my back. I would have also really liked to have had the option of having a softer pillow. We were booked in for 5 nights - I think it would have been good to have house keeping ask if we needed any extra milk, toilet paper or any rubbish to collect. I understand about paying for extra housekeeping - eg making the bed.

The buffet dinner had a nice variety of food and was tasty. the staff was friendly and accommodating during my business stay. the location was convenient for my needs, with easy access to the nearby conference center and airport.
The room was not properly cleaned upon my arrival and there were several dirty dishes in the kitchenette sink. the Wi-Fi signal was extremely weak and kept cutting out, which made it difficult to get work done.

Everything-the golf course was fantastic, the food was delicious and the kids playground is amazing.

The rroom was very dark and we were allocated a room as far away from the lift and sevices as was possible and we found that interesting considering the resort was only 10% full. When we asked for a sunnier room we were dismissed and told that we would get morning sun. No no sun at all. The golf was fun but it was up there as far as cost per round was concerned. No discount for people staying in the resort.

Beautiful Gardens and Convenient Pools
The best aspects of our stay were the stunning gardens and the conveniently located pools. The gardens were impeccably landscaped and made for a lovely atmosphere. The pools were great for a refreshing dip and conveniently located near our accommodation. the location of the hotel was close to key attractions and amenities, making it easy to explore the area.
Our stay was marred by two main negative aspects. the breakfast options were limited and not up to par with our expectations.

Fantastic large apartment with all brand new furniture/equipment etc. Great air-conditioning and ceiling fans, great staff. Really good value for money. We did not use the restaurant but from what we could see it looked good. We had a hire car which I think is essential if staying at this resort. Cairns approx 20min drive, Port Douglas 45min drive. As we wanted to visit both we were very well placed. Not far to beach, shopping centre.

Lovely place, but a little far from everything, bus stop at bottom of road, 15 min walk to it! More for golfers, you would need to rent car! Hotel restaurant a bit expensive!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Despite it being almost off the grid, the hotel had great facilities including lovely swimming pools and a games room. The staff were friendly and helpful when we needed them. The hotel was very clean and tidy with spacious indoor spaces and beautifully cared for gardens.
Don't have any issues at all.

The service was fantastic, all the staff members were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The facilities were wonderful for children and everything was clean and modern so great for the parents as well.
You do need a car to get to the shops, cafes etc, but we knew this, so wasn't a problem.
